Wake up and smell the coffee,
Life is calling, set your soul free!
Do what your heart yearns to do,
Find your dream and make it come true.
“You cannot do it”, the world will tell you;
Don't pay heed to the noise, let it not define you.
Shed your inhibitions, overcome your fears,
Bid goodbye to self-pity and tears.
Life will often test you; don't let it break your grit;
Let no situation or person dampen your spirit.
Forgive your mistakes, let the inner conflict resolve,
Don't be so harsh on yourself, let your soul absolve.
Life will not always be fair as you may expect it to be;
Heal the wound, learn the lesson and move on gracefully.
Trust your instincts, then go with the flow,
Pat your back every time you grow.
Carve your niche, pave your own way,
Make a goal and breathe it every day
Do not wait for validation or compliments galore,
Be your best version and love it to the core.
Bow down in gratitude but walk with your head held high,
Step outside the “How’s” of life and find your own “Why”.
